Best of the Best Poster Award
131 posters were presented today at the SSM Poster Session spanning all academic disciplines in the School. An undergraduate research assistant of mine, Eric Hofesmann, captures the "Best of the Best" award.... Meaning, it was declared the best poster out of all 131 posters! Amazing accomplishment my young scientist - well deserved!
PatchMI 2015 LNCS Proceedings!
Many thanks to the workshop chairs, program committee members, and of course authors of accepted papers! I'm sure PatchMI 2016 will also be a huge success!
Computer Graphics and Visualization Seminar Series
In the spring 2015 semester, the computer science department will hold a computer graphics and visualization (CGV) seminar series. The goals of the CGV series are to: 1) have industry partners and academic organizations give 50-minute presentations about current GGV topics and related CGV software technologies, 2) engage in potential external (or internal) undergraduate or graduate research opportunities related to CGV, and 3) showcase the new computer science department located in Harborwalk east.
The CGV seminar series is open to anyone, i.e. not just CofC computer science students. Please feel free to
contact us if your organization has any questions.
The seminar series schedule can be found
here (or you can just click on the graphic above). On CGV homepage the title, time, and location of each presentation are provided. We look forward to seeing you at the CGV seminar series!
